'Viva La Visa' is a series of three satirical scratch cards which were made for asylum seekers. It plays with the idea that obtaining resettlement in Australia is as rare as winning the lottery. One one side are illustrations that replicate the crudeness of scratchies and on the other side are the terms and conditions of resettling in Australian taken directly from the application. The use of scratch printing and perforation aimed to make the final product as legitimate as possible.
