While interning at Saegenvier in Austria, I had the opportunity to brand international lighting architects, EPOS. They desired a sophisticated and clean corporate identity to reflect their business, which is why I decided to go for black and white as a scheme. The mark, made from characters so as not to be overdecorated, is fluid and can be appropriated depending on the platform it is show on. Printing reflected the fact that they were a lighting company by printing on the underside of the paper and having the mark visible only when in contact with light.
