The Cook Up with Adam Liaw.
In a very first for SBS Food, The Cook Up with Adam Liaw is a long running 200-episode variety entertainment series. Filled to the brim with special guests, culture, food and fun, the show provides everyday cooking inspiration for foodies and non-foodies alike.
Our job was to launch this show in the most strategic way possible across OOH, on-air, events, PR, social and for the first time TikTok.
Hero Promo
I was involved in art and motion directing the hero promo, rotoscoping the full framers and colour grading.
On-Air and Youtube Pre-Roll Bumpers
These bumpers were designed to be a breath of air on both linear and social channels. My role was art/motion direction on shoot day and execution in post.
Instagram Stories
Utilising the playful nature of the show, these Instagram stories saw Adam think of as many dishes as possible with the ingredient thrown to him.
GIPHY Stickers
To optimise engagement and reach, we created a suite of GIPHY stickers that could be attached to peopleβs Slack Channels, Instagram stories or emails.
I designed and created each of the below.
TikTok Recipes
Served up in feed and as takeover ads. Instead of simply resizing the promo, we wanted to build bespoke assets that looked like the usual user-generated content that you see on TikTok. With that in mind, we tapped into the #foodtok world by creating the below recipe videos.
Youtube Instream Ads
We created these fun 15 second content bites for instream, unskippable Youtube ads.
